WAYNE COUNTY -- A developing story out of Wayne County where multiple fire departments are responded to an oil well fire in Wayne County.
The fire has since been extinguished. Now fire crews are working to find out what may have caused the fire.
The fire was in Chippewa Township. A fire spokesman says the fire was contained to the well itself. Foam was used to extinguish the fire.
The well was burning on a vacant lot off Taylor Road. Officials say there is no danger and no evacuations have been ordered.
The Highway Patrol is directing traffic near the intersection of Clinton and Taylor roads.
