SOLON -- Police arrested and charged a Solon man after he allegedly threatened to shoot another driver at the corner of Harper and Bainbridge roads while waiting at a traffic light.
Police charged Daniel T. Srovnal, 47, of Solon, with menacing, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, having an open container in a vehicle and carrying concealed weapons.
A driver called police just before 9 p.m. March 18, saying another driver had just threatened to shoot him while they were stopped at a traffic light.
Police stopped Srovnal at the corner of Bainbridge and Solon roads. He submitted to a Breathalyzer test, with the results of .207, more than twice the .08 legal limit.
Police searched his car and found the open container of alcohol and several knives in the pouch of the driver's side door.
