CLEVELAND -- Michael J. Fox's organization to help find a cure for Parkinson's Disease is here in Ohio at Edgewater Park to raise money and awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The Clevelanders you see in the video above took a chilly Polar Bear Plunge at one of the local beaches early Saturday, while temperatures weren't on their sides.
This year The Greater Cleveland Aquarium Mascots, Pygmy the Seahorse & Sandy the Shark, were also in attendance at Edgewater Park to cheer all the locals on.
Some came dressed in their bathing suits, while others came in their creative costumes. Kids and kids at heart jumped for joy in the bitter cold Lake Erie water.
Those that participated in the plunge received a commemorative Polar Bear knit hat and can warm up. They also enjoyed an after party at Liquid, which featured many sponsors that helped put on the event.
