Lately Governor John Kasich is getting as much pushback -- if not more -- from his fellow Republicans as from Democrats.

Parts of his proposed budget, including expanding the sales tax, taxing gas and oil drillers more and expanding Medicaid, are being fired upon from much of his own party.

And Republican Dave Yost demanded and got records from JobsOhio. Kasich argued Yost is not entitled to because JobsOhio is a private entity. Is Yost or Kasich right? Will surrendering the records scare companies that might bring jobs here from coming? How much of Kasich's budget will survive?

Republicans "borrowed " Tom Beres' voice from a newscast for a web spot bashing Kasich's likely reelection opponent Ed FitzGerald.

It's legal. But what are the issues blurring journalism and campaign propaganda?

Federal investigators have launched a sweeping probe of Cleveland police training, supervision and use of force. The feds have been more aggressive under President Obama seeking to reform police abuses.

In 2000, they made recommendations the city agreed to and here we are today. What's reasonable to expect from the probe?

And on the lighter side, Cleveland political icons George Voinovich and George Forbes who worked together at Cleveland City Hall and are now working together again, wearing bunny ears to sell Malley's Easter goodies.

Tom Beres discusses these topics with Channel 3 Political Analysts Mary Anne Sharkey and Dennis Eckart on this edition of Between the Lines.
