EASTLAKE -- A Willowick man was arrested and charged Tuesday morning after police find him in the Lakeside Apartments with two others.
Police say that, just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, they were called to the area of Dover and Lakeside for a report of a person shooting out of a window at Lakeside Apartments.
The caller told police the person shooting was at Lakeside and his apartment windows at Dover were shot multiple times.
As the officer began to walk behind the wooden fence approaching the caller's apartment, the officer heard a shot fired from what sounded like a BB gun and the sound of a BB or pellet hitting and bouncing off a window.
On the east side of a building at the Lakeside Apartments, a small window was open on the upper level.
Police went into the building and made several loud knocks on the apartment door and announcements before a woman opened the door.
Officers entered the apartment and found two men in a bedroom, along with containers of alcohol.
After talking with them, police arrested and charged a Willowick man, 22, for using a weapon while intoxicated and criminal damage.
He was held in the jail until he was sober and the court set his bond.
