There is a place where ancient works of art meet cutting edge technology. That's right in our backyard at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

In Gallery One, on the main floor of the museum, is a 40-foot-wide touch screen that shows all 3,000 paintings, drawings, sculptures and objects in the museum.

"This collection wall is the largest, multi-touch screen that we know of," says Caroline Goeser, with the museum.

She explained how this wall and an iPad becomes a personalized tour for visitors.

If someone touches one of the pictures, they can add it to their personal favorites in an app called Art Lens. Once your favorite paintings and works of art are saved it, it creates a tour and shows exactly where the works of art are displayed.

Not only are there more visitors at the museum lately, but an article in the New York Times said in the museum world, everyone is watching Cleveland.

"We've had visits from the Metropolitan museum of art, the director came here to take a look, the san francisco museum of modern art," says Goeser.
