CLEVELAND -- A sunken barge has been pulled out of the Cuyahoga River near the Columbus Road lift bridge.
Crews worked through the early morning hours Friday working to remove the barge from the water.
There is no word on why the barge sank or who owns it, but crews say it began to sink around 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning.
Workers said the barge needed to be removed so boat traffic would not be impeded.
