CLEVELAND -- 52-year-old Ariel Castro moved from the city to Cuyahoga County jail Thursday.
He is in isolation, on suicide watch, given the high-profile status of his case.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty will now prepare the case for a grand jury.
Castro currently faces seven charges (three for rape, four for kidnapping Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, Michelle Knight and Amanda's daughter).
McGinty says he plans to look into the possibility of pursuing the death penalty for Castro.
While the process of moving to grand jury usually takes less than 30 days, the circumstances here are different.
McGinty expects to file many additional charges, for each instance of abuse, sexual assault, each day of kidnapping and aggravated murder for the pregnancies Castro allegedly forced the women to terminate.
This would mean many more interviews for investigators to conduct with the women and right now, McGinty and the FBI are trying to give them some space.
Authorities agree that for the immediate future, the women need time to relax and decompress after a 10-year ordeal.
