STREETSBORO -- Police and the fire department responded to a 6:17 a.m. three-car crash Friday on state Route 14 in front of Home Depot.

Police say the crash happened when a maroon 2003 Toyota Camry, driven by Bruce Max, 22, of Kent, was travelling southeast on SR14 and crossed over into the northwest-bound lanes and struck two vehicles heading northwest.

Those vehicles were a 2007 white Chrysler Aspen driven by Erica Lincoln, 29, of Streetsboro, and a 2003 gold Ford Taurus driven by Jessica Long, 33, of Streetsboro.

Long and Lincoln were both taken to the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg and Max was taken to Robinson Memorial Hospital, all with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet.

Northwest-bound traffic on SR14 was backed up beyond SR43 for about an hour until the crash could be cleared from the roadway.
