CLEVELAND -- Cuyahoga County announced a new initiative to help solve missing persons cases. The announcement was made Thursday morning by Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and Cuyahoga County Sheriff Frank Bova.

The county has created a new website, www.missingpersonscuyahoga.org.  It will have constant updates on people missing in the county.

FitzGerald also said the county will hire a liaison to work with law enforcement officials and the community. Two sheriff's deputies will be assigned to work with the liaison and solve these cases.

Currently there are about 110 people reported missing in Cleveland. The total number missing in Cuyahoga County is unknown at this time, according to county officials.
