CLEVELAND -- The West Shoreway has been transformed into a movie set as the film crew for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" uses the roadway as a backdrop for the upcoming summer action movie.
For the first two weeks of filming, the crew has seemed to focus on a chase involving the character of Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson.

Much of the action has now moved to the Shoreway. On Monday, spotted near the W. 3rd exit, was none other than the titular villain himself -- the Winter Soldier.
The character is played played by actor Sebastian Stan in the film.
The action sequence on Monday included a shot where the Winter Soldier steps to the edge of the Shoreway and fires a round from what appeared to be a grenade launcher.
In later sequences, he is joined by multiple men with large automatic weapons firing dozens of rounds at another vehicle.
The movie will film on the Shoreway through June 15 as well as other locations in the city.
Captain America 2 is scheduled for release in April 2014.
