CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating an act of vandalism at the home of Gina DeJesus, one of three women rescued in the Miracle of Cleveland.

Gina's mother, Nancy Ruiz, filed a police report stating that last week someone intentionally drove into the family's yard and ran over a tree sapling that had been recently planted, reportedly in honor of Gina's return.

A neighbor told police he captured the incident on video and told officers it was not an accident that the car went into the DeJesus yard. Police are reviewing the video and say they are searching for either a Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima.

Ruiz told police the car then backed out of the yard and took off. Officers dispatched to the scene were unable to locate the car.

Gina, Amanda Berry and Michelle Knight escaped a home owned by Ariel Castro on May 6 after being held against their will for a decade.
