Jim Wooley represents Berry and DeJesus, and Kathy Joseph represents Michelle Knight.
"We have a great legal system, plus confidence and faith in the prosecutor's office and its decisions. Now, we need to stand back and let the judicial process unfold," said the attorneys' statement.
Castro faces 177 charges of kidnapping, 139 charges of rape, two counts of aggravated murder (for the forced termination of Knight's pregnancy) as well as a dozen other lesser charges.
Prosecutors are still evaluating whether to seek the death penalty in this case.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty's office says these charges presented to the grand jury today are the first of many more indictments to come.
The case spans over ten years of investigation.
Prosecutors will continue to present indictments related to crimes committed from 2007 to the time of the rescue last month.
Castro remains in jail. He will be arraigned on the latest indictment next week.
