CLEVELAND -- An arraignment date has been scheduled for Ariel Castro in connection with the rescue of three women from his Cleveland home last month. A grand jury on Friday indicted Castro on 329 charges including aggravated murder, kidnapping and rape.
Castro is scheduled for arraignment on June 12 at 8:30 a.m. He's currently being held on $8 million bond.
The aggravated murder charges, prosecutors say, are connected to Castro's alleged termination of one of the women's pregnancies.
He is accused of kidnapping Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight and holding them captive in his Seymour Avenue home for a decade.
The women were rescued on May 6, after Amanda Berry managed to break out of the house and run to the neighbors for help.
Castro's attorneys have said he would plead not guilty to any indictment.
