GRANGER TOWNSHIP -- One man is dead and two others injured after a fiery, head-on collision on State Route 18 (Medina Road) in Granger Township.

According to the Highway Patrol, the driver of one of the cars, was westbound on Route 18 when he went left of center hitting another car driven by a Strongsville man.

The car that went left of center, burst into flames upon impact. Two good Samaritans who stopped to help pulled the driver from the burning wreckage.

 The accident happened just east of I-71. Troopers say seat belts were used. The accident is under investigation.

A passenger in the car driven by the Strongsville man died of his injuries.
