  • CLEVELAND -- "Captain America: Winter Soldier" is causing another hotly anticipated road closure.

The Lorain Avenue bridge closed early Friday morning between Rocky River Drive and Story Road as film crews settle in to shoot another sequence.

The roadway will only be blocked for one day -- until 10 p.m. Friday -- with the suggested detour route being Hilliard Blvd.

Emergency ambulance access to Fairview Hospital will be maintained throughout the bridge's closure.

In other "Captain America" traffic news, the shutdown of the West Shoreway will conclude Friday. For the last two weeks, thousands of drivers have been forced to re-route their daily commute as a result of Marvel's action-packed scenes that took over several miles of the heavily traveled route.

"Captain America: Winter Soldier" has been filming throughout Cleveland since last month. The film's biggest stars -- Chris Evans, Scarlett Johannson and Samuel L. Jackson -- have been spooted in town multiple times.

Marvel crews will continue shooting the movie through the end of June.

The movie is slatd for relase in April 2014.
