Will Bruins and Blackhawks burn the midnight oil again?

BOSTON -- The opening two games have gone overtime, with the Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks splitting a pair of games while playing four extra periods of tense, make-no-mistake hockey.

So don't be surprised if tonight's Game 3 in Boston is a close, tight-checking affair with very little room for much offensive movement.

If the teams go overtime tonight, these teams will be the first to play three straight OTs to start a Stanley Cup final since Montreal and the L.A. Kings did it in 1993.

The Bruins are home for the next two games. Chicago won the opener in triple overtime while the Bruins evened the series with a 2-1 overtime win Saturday night in Chicago.

Working overtime is nothing new to the Bruins. They've played seven overtime games already -- tied for fifth-most in a single playoff year in NHL history.
