Cleveland | One dead after downtown shooting

CLEVELAND -- Cleveland Police are investigating a downtown shooting that left one man dead and woman injured early Saturday.

The shooting happened at the intersection of West 3rd street and Frankfort Avenue near Public Square.

According to police, a large fight broke out inside Lounge 75 Nightclub at 55 Public Square.  The fight moved outside and that's when several shots were fired.

Police say one man was shot in his back and a woman was shot in the ankle. Both were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center shortly after 2:30 a.m.

Police stopped cars, including a party bus and individuals, finding multiple weapons.  

Police are now looking for two suspects in the case.

Both are described as African American men in their 20's. One was wearing a green shirt and tan shorts. The other was wearing light colored blue jeans with no shirt.
