PERKINS TOWNSHIP -- Three people had to be taken to the hospital after a chain reaction crash on US 250 in Perkins Township Monday afternoon.
According to the Sandusky Highway Patrol Post, the drivers of three cars were stopped in traffic on US 250 northbound when a Mack truck failed to stop setting off the chain-reaction crash.
The driver and the passenger in the car rammed by the truck were transported to the hospital with neck and back injuries as was the driver of a third vehicle involved in the crash. Four vehicles were involved in the crash.
The truck driver was not injured. The Highway Patrol says everyone was wearing a seat belt.
