  • CLEVELAND -- The heat and humidity are cranking up once again, which is why the National Weather Service has issued yet another Heat Advisory from 1-8 p.m. Thursday.

Heat index values are expected to range from 98 to 104 degrees as the day progresses.

A similar Heat Advisory was put in place Wednesday from 1-9 p.m.

Weather forecasters say this heat wave that is gripping most of the nation is courtesy of a strong high pressure system.

A Heat Advisory means that high temperatures and high humidity will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are possible.
