  • EAST CLEVELAND -- Authorities have identified a second victim in the East Cleveland triple murder case.

28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley, who was initially known as victim #3, has been missing since September.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office says Sheeley was identified by her fingerprints.  Her body was found in a field near Hayden and Shaw avenues on Saturday.

    She has a 12-year-old daughter.

Sheeley, of Cleveland, was identified just one day after authorities released the name of Angela Deskins -- victim #2 in the case.

    A third victim remains unidentified.

35-year-old Michael Madison was charged in the three deaths and kidnappings Monday. He is being held at the Cuyahoga County Jail on $6 million bond.  After being evaluated, the sheriff says Madison will be moved to an isolation cell.

Madison was arrested after authorities found the bodies of three women wrapped in plastic in the same East Cleveland neighborhood last weekend.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner says the victims were badly decomposed at the time of discovery, which means it could take longer than usual to determine the cause of death.

Her death is the second murder the Sheeley family has experienced in recent months. Last December, her brother, 25-year-old Dontel J. Sheeley, was fatally shot during a home invasion on E. 99th Street.

At a Tuesday press conference, East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton says he is a friend with the family of one of the victims.

"These aren't just victims with numbers and names, they are real-life people," Norton said.

He added that authorities are continuing to search for other potential victims.

"We hope and pray that we do not find anything else," Norton said.
