Amanda Berry's sister spoke on her behalf and Gina's cousin Sylvia Colon spoke for Gina. First to speak was Sylvia for Gina.
Sylvia thanked Judge Russo, the Cuyahoga County prosecutor and the defense team for an accelerated end to this situation.
"Today is the last day we want to talk about this," Sylvia said.
Sylvia says Gina will live her life..."we ask that you continue to give her and our family privacy...and to Ariel Castro, (she spoke eight words in Spanish)..." and then sat down.

Next was Amanda Berry's sister Beth Serrano on her behalf and asked that the family's privacy be respected.
Michelle said "I cried every night...I worried about what would happen to us every day and every night...the years turned into an eternity...I knew nobody every cared about me...nobody should have to go through what I went through...my friendship with her is the only good thing about what happened..."
"Ariel Castro...you took 11 years of my life away and I got it back...now your hell is just beginning...you will face hell for eternity....from this moment on, I will not let you define me...you will die a little every day..."
"...the death penalty would be so much easier than what you are facing...with the guidance of God, I will help others....know that there is more good than evil..."
