MANTUA -- Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers are searching for a suspect who fled on foot after a traffic stop in Portage County.
A dispatcher confirms troopers started a search for the man in the Mantua area.
A staff member at nearby Crestwood High School said OSHP called the school to let them know troopers were searching for a suspect in the area.
As a precaution, Crestwood has locked down windows and double checked locked exterior doors. Students will not go outside today for gym or other activities.
The spokesperson says students are not locked down in classrooms, but are continuing the school day as normal.
