CLEVELAND - Tito Dejesus has known Ariel Castro for 20 years. They played together in bands, met up for rehearsals and took road trips for shows.
By all accounts, one of Castro's closest friends, who thinks he took the easy way out.
"To be honest, I'm not really surprised. Whether he did it out of guilt or spite. He should have at least felt the pain that he gave to those three women, being caged up."
Castro's uncle also wasn't surprised, and believes his nephew had no choice.
"I think he had to sooner or later, because that was a show they put up."
Family and friends were already shaken up, now are left with more questions.
Tito is unsure on whether or not he'd attend Castro's funeral.
"Maybe I would go just to bring closure to me as a friend to him. It's hard to say because even though I was friends with him for twenty years, what he did...outweighs that."
