As temperatures soared, the FirstEnergy outage map was showing more than 53,00 customers without power but FirstEenergy spokesman Mark Durbin says that is not an accurate number.
Durbin says that, as of 5 p.m. Tuesday, there are a number of customers with what he calls "low voltage" due to repairs being made in Ashtabula.

Those with "low voltage" are showing up as a power outage number on the map.
About 1:30 p.m., Durbin said a power line hit another power line and knocked out power to around 15,000 customers.
Right now, 10,000 customers have had their power restored, Durbin said, and the remaining 5,000 should be back on by 10 p.m.
Durbin said the weather is not playing a big role in the low voltage at this time.
