The sixth Friday night of the 2013 high school football season is in the books!

Each area prep gridiron squad in action tonight took the field looking to start the second half of the season with a win to better position themselves for a late-season playoff push.

In tonight's Friday Night Fever "Big Game," Avon defeated Elyria Catholic 38-7.

In a battle of previously unbeaten teams, Hudson topped Stow-Munroe Falls 20-7. The Explorers' Ben Hart opened the game's scoring with a 52-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

In one of the night's biggest upsets, Brunswick took down previously undefeated Elyria, 40-35.
