CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating two shootings Sunday morning.
The first shooting left one man severely injured after he took multiple gunshot wounds to his leg and arm.
The shooting happened at 2432 E. 36th Street. Police say 26-year-old Donnel Washington Jr of Euclid, was waiting on a bus when two men in a while vehicle began to shoot him. He was conscious and breathing at the time EMS transported him to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The second shooting happened downtown near Progressive Field.
Police tell Channel 3 Ti'yana Thompson was shot at 727 Bolivar Road around 3 a.m.
She was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she is being treated for a gunshot wound in the back.
Police say that Thompson was with a group of people when a man began to shoot at them on E. 8th and Bolivar Avenue.
The man was described as a black male with dark complexion, 5'7", 150 lbs, black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green polo shirt and blue jeans. The man goes by the street name of "Beetle.
