Suspect in fatal card game shooting turns himself in

CLEVELAND -- Police say the suspect in an early Saturday morning shooting has turned himself in.

Police say one man died after being shot multiple times in the chest. The shooting happened at 728 E. 92nd Street.

A report says that the victim and several people were playing cards. That's when a suspect got upset and pulled out a gun, shooting the victim.

Police determined the suspect was Gregory Rice, 55, of Cleveland. He was wanted in the shooting of Kennis G. Grace, 56, of Cleveland.

At 4 p.m. Sunday, Rice surrendered without incident at the Justice Center and is currently being held in the Division's Central Prison Unit awaiting charges.
