CLEVELAND -- You never know what you will find in Lake Erie.
The Downtown Cleveland Alliance and the Lake Erie Monsters AHL team thought this would be a great way to remind Greater Clevelanders about the team.
The monster will be lurking in the North Coast Harbor for quite a while. The Monster arrived Tuesday morning, with help from the Downtown Cleveland Alliance and the City of Cleveland, and sits in the water between the Great Lakes Science Center and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, where it will remain for the next several weeks.
The inflatable creature measures 25 feet long, 15 feet wide and 18 feet tall, and joins other popular lakefront entities such as FirstEnergy Stadium, Burke Lakefront Airport, the U.S.S Cod Museum and the Goodtime III.
Lake Erie Monsters fans are encouraged to submit photos of themselves in front of the new lakefront Monster via the team's Facebook (/LakeErieMonsters) and Twitter (@monstershockey) pages.
Every fan that tags the Lake Erie Monsters in their photo, along with #LakeMonster, on either of the two social networks will receive two free tickets to a November home game!
