WILLOUGHBY HILLS -- A juvenile female pedestrian was struck by a car in Willoughby Hills Tuesday evening, but her injuries aren't life-threatening, according to police.
The police and fire departments were called to 27505 Chardon Road just after 8 p.m.
According to witnesses, the girl was crossing Chardon Road from the area of Giant Eagle toward Willoughby Hills Tower and was not in a marked crosswalk.
The driver of a 2008 Toyota traveling west on Chardon Road, who had the right of way, struck her and immediately pulled to the side of the road.
Rescue squads found the girl unconscious and lying in the roadway. She was taken to Hillcrest Hospital.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed.
