At the Justice Center, William Knoble admitted that he was guilty of nepotism in office and apologized for breaking the law. “I apologize to the residents of the city for any embarrassment this has brought on the community,” Knoble said. Knoble got into trouble because he hired his son and his brother at the Water Treatment plant. But because he continues to cooperate with prosecutors, the now former mayor of Rocky River won't spend any time behind bars.
