Arrests made in Dairy Queen parking lot shooting

MEDINA TOWNSHIP -- Charges have been filed against two people accused in Thursday night's shooting in a Dairy Queen parking lot.

Police say it was around 7:20 p.m. when officers heard a gunshot and witnessed a vehicle backing into the entrance of the restaurant on Medina Road.

Upon investigating, officers found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot to the arm.

The victim, who was LifeFlighted to the hospital, identified the suspect to police.

As a result, authorities arrested 48-year-old Terry Yuschak of Perrysville and charged with felonious assault.

A second suspect, 18-year-old Mason Braun of Medina, was arrested and charged with tampering with evidence.

Both suspects are being held at the Medina County Jail.
