Cleveland | Man in critical condition after shooting

CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating a shooting that happened about 4:30 p.m. Monday on the city's East Side.

Police were called to the 10700 block of Woodland Avenue in connection with a domestic violence call.

When officers arrived, they were flagged down by a 35-year-old man who had been shot in the back.

The man was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is in critical condition.

Information is still being gathered, and the investigation is in its preliminary stages, according to police.
