Fugitive of the Week arrested in Akron

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force says a woman profiled today as the Fugitive of the Week has been arrested after a tip in Akron.

Marshals took Tameka McMillan into custody in the 1400 block of Malasia Avenue.

McMillan, 39, was wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Secret Service for the alleged forgery of checks worth several hundred thousand dollars and violating conditions of her supervised release.

The U.S. Marshals say McMillan has several aliases including: Lisa Short, Tameka Rice, Tameka Orr and Stephanie Rivera.
