Two Fifth Third Banks robbed in Cleveland

On Wednesday May 3, two Fifth Third Banking locations were robbed within hours of each other.

Lakewood Police Department and the Cleveland Division of FBI are searching for a suspect that robbed the Fifth Third Bank at 14800 Madison Ave in Lakewood around 2:20 p.m.

The suspect is described as a 6'1'' African American male weighing 220 lbs, in his mid-thirties to early forties.

He was wearing dark glasses and a black baseball cap. 

The suspect used a note to demand money from the teller.

No weapon was observed and no injuries were reported. 

Information on this robbery can be reported to the Lakewood Police Department or Cleveland Division of FBI. 

The second robbery occurred at the Fifth Third at 9301 Vista Way in Garfield Heights.

The suspects is described as a dark complexion male in his early 20's, with and African or Island accent.

Alone,the suspect entered the bank around 4 p.m. and handed the teller a threatening note demanding money.

No weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.
