Cleveland: School CEO will receive new contract

CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland School Board plans to offer CEO Eric Gordon a new three-year contract.

Eric Gordon's contract will expire on July 1 but the school board will offer him a new multi-year contract.

He is currently making $230,000. The new contract will be for $227,700 each year for three years.

He will also pay more for health care and will continue to drive his own car.

"I am not looking for a silver prachute. I just want to help kids," says Gordon.

The contract will be handled at the next school board meeting and dealt with in public, so the public can comment on it.

That meeting is se for June 19.
