CLEVELAND -- Former Fairview Park High School principal Kevin Liptrap won't go to prison but will spend 90 days in halfway house.
Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Joan Synenberg also ruled that he will pay $122,142.12 in restitution, with the high school getting $63,000 of that money and the rest to be used to pay for the audit that uncovered the missing money.
Liptrap, 47, of Bay Village, had admitted in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court that he stole about $63,000 from the school district between June 14, 2006, and Oct. 1, 2010.
