BEDFORD -- A Bedford Schools bus struck and injured a a woman at 7:25 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Johnson and Woodrow avenues.
The woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
Beth Russell, communications coordinator with Bedford Schools, tells WKYC that Bedford Police will be handing the incident and a police report has already been filed.
There was one student on the bus at the time of the incident and the student was not injured.
Russell said the driver, a 30-year veteran driver, was distraught after the accident and is on home assignment pending an investigation.
