Mentor music teacher charged with sexually assaulting student

MENTOR -- A Mentor music teacher is charged with raping one of his 15-year-old students.

Police say Barry Valentine first assaulted the girl at a junior high band camp two summers ago.    

He then allegedly assaulted her over seven months.    

School leaders are unsure if there are other victims.    

Valentine, who has been with the district for 10 years, did not enter a plea in court Monday.
