AKRON, Ohio -- Tuesday marks the second day in a row classes are canceled at Ellet High School after a weekend fire inside the building.
Akron Public Schools posted pictures of the damage on Facebook saying more cleanup is necessary.
“Crews have been cleaning up from smoke, fire and water damage that affects -- mostly -- an area that houses the school’s College and Career Education’s construction program.”
The fire sparked late Saturday night around 11 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
It's unclear if the school will reopen Wednesday.
