Parma School Board president resigns after short tenure

New Parma school board president resigns

PARMA - The Parma City School District is looking for a school board president.  Again.

Lynn Halloran has submitted her resignation just two weeks after being sworn in to replace Kathleen Petro.

Petro abruptly resigned during a special October meeting of the board.

Parma Schools are facing a deadline of November 1 to submit a plan to the Ohio Department of Education spelling out how to deal with the district's money woes.
