
CLEVELAND -- Saturday, August 29, The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Greater Cleveland chapter will hold its seventh annual "Walk for the Mind of America."
Participants will have a chance to experience some symptoms of bipolar disorder with "The Bipolar Journey: Living with Bipolar Depression," a traveling exhibit that will give visitors an idea of what people with bipolar feel when they're in the depressive phase of the disease. It contains interactive tools to help patients talk to their doctors. There is no charge for the exhibit.
The NAMI Walk will be Saturday, August 29, 2009, at Voinovich Park in downtown Cleveland. Registration is at 9 a.m. The Walk starts at 10 a.m. and is 2.5 miles. You can also register online by clicking HERE or by calling the NAMI Greater Cleveland office at 216-875-0266. Registration is free.
