CLEVELAND -- Holiday travel is expected to be up this year, so are you doing everything you can to protect yourself from the flu and H1N1?
Starting this week the airports will be jammed with travelers anxious to get home for the Thanksgiving holiday.
But health officials want everyone to remember their healthy habits to avoid both the seasonal and H1N1 flu.
The Centers for Disease Control will start a push to ask travelers to purchase insurance. That way they will be protected if they have to cancel their travel plans if they become ill.
A spokesperson at Cleveland International Airport says, "You do see people washing their hands, they're not touching everything everybody's got their sanitizer and they're really working it. Some people we've seen have the masks."
So can you take your hand sanitizer to the airport? Well, as long as it is in a three ounce bottle, you can take it with you.
Also, airlines have procedures for anyone that is showing signs of illness during flight.
