Toys ‘R' Us recalls 53K pacifier clips due to choking hazard

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Toys ‘R’ Us has recalled 53,000 pacifier clips due to a possible choking hazard.

According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission, the spring in the pacifier clip can break. The small parts in the spring could then pose a choking risk to babies and toddlers.

Toys ‘R’ Us has received two reports of the clips breaking, but no injuries have been reported.

The recall involves the pacifier clips sold in six colors and character designs including; red monster, blue monster, monkey, giraffe, owl with one eye closed, and an owl with both eyes open.

The recalled pacifier clip assortment has model number 5F6237F and “®2014 Geoffrey, LLC” engraved on the back to the plastic cover.

The pacifier clips are sold at both Toys ‘R’ Us and Babies ‘R’ Us.If you have the pacifier clip immediately take it back to one of the stores for a full refund.
