Kerry: US won't recognize Crimea vote

LONDON -- U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry says Washington and the international community won't recognize the outcome of the upcoming referendum in Crimea.

Kerry said that in six hours of talks Friday he had put forward several ideas on how to respect Ukraine's sovereignty and address Russian concerns, too, but that Lavrov made clear Putin would not take any decisions until after Sunday's vote.
