AKRON - Akron Police found a 3-year-old who had wandered off after three adults had overdosed.
It happened just after 5 p.m. today (Sept. 9) at 998 Concord Avenue.
The Akron Fire department initially responded to a multiple overdose call and three adults were treated and taken to the hospital.
Police say a 3-year-old wandered off during the overdoses.
Police began searching for the child in the area and found the child in the backyard of an address a street over.
Police learned that an adult on that street saw the child wandering and started watching the child with her own children until police arrived.
Shortly after the initial three adults were taken from the Concord Avenue scene, a fourth adult showed up at the same address.
EMS was called back to the Concord Avenue house and took that fourth patient to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
