AKRON, Ohio -- Students in Summit County are getting an extended weekend as Ellet High School is closed Monday.
The closure is due to the damage caused by a fire that broke out inside the building late Saturday night around 11 p.m.
Akron fire officials said the blaze began in a classroom where students work on learning construction skills.
There were no injuries.
The cause remains under investigation, but officials said it doesn't currently look to be suspicious.
