Officials search for fugitive in Akron

AKRON - Authorities said a wanted fugitive may be hiding somewhere in Akron.

According to the Northern Ohio Violent Task Force, Davon Irvine is wanted for aggravated robbery and felonious assault.  

The 22-year-old man allegedly broke in to a home with another man in December 2015.

Irvine and the unnamed other man allegedly duct taped the victim's mouth, tied his hands behind his back, hit him with a pistol, and demanded money.

The victim's brother was also attacked. 

Irvine and the other suspect left the home in a black vehicle.

Irvine's last known address is near the 1100 block of Copley Avenue in Akron, officials said.

Anyone with available information is urged to contact the task force at 1-866-4WANTED, or text the word "WANTED" along with relevant details to 847411. 

Officials said reward money is available and those offering information can remain anonymous
