University of Akron to become tobacco free July 1

The University of Akron will soon join 15 other Universities in Ohio by becoming tobacco free.

According to the University, the change will take effect on all University grounds beginning July 1.

The entire campus will be impacted including faculty, staff, students, visitors, vendors consultants, contractors, and volunteers.
