Puppy in foster care after couple feeds it Kahlua, vodka

ASHTABULA, OHIO - A puppy has been placed in care of a foster home after it was fed Kahlua and vodka.

According to an Ashtabula police report, officers were alerted by the county dog warden to a report of a puppy being intentionally fed alcohol Tuesday evening.

A photo posted to Facebook shows a puppy passed out on the floor with the caption, "lilybug is drunk she pass the [expletive] out on us LOL."

Officers responded to the address at the 300 block of W. 53rd St., where a woman let police inside. The tenant admitted that her boyfriend fed the puppy Kahlua and Screwdrivers. She admitted she was present at the time.

The puppy was taken to a local APL and is currently residing in a foster home.

Police also say charges have not been filed yet.
